The USP45CT is a modified Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) .45 caliber USP Compact that can accomodate a silencer. The resulting sound and flash level is thereby reduced to tolerable standards when working in poorly lit and/or enclosed environments. In addition, the suppressor’s shorter overall length and decreased weight allows the weapon to be carried and presented for use by the operator from a tactical holster.
